ID Sarrieri is 16 years old this year – founded in Paris, the brand stands out through its use of sensual shapes, hand-made details, and beautiful fabrics. Their use of chantilly lace, silk mousseline, jacquard, and embroidered laces are what luxury and couture lingerie are all about.
If you’ve been following my instagram account, you’ll know that the Fall/Winter collection is pretty much all firmly on my wishlist. Here are my favourite designs.
The Naissance De Venus high waist brief is definitely one of the show-stoppers. The illusion tulle makes the main fabric disappear to leave a soft chantilly lace design that seems to float on the skin. The shapes look like they borrow from jewellery or even rococo design to create beautifully framed florals and lace details.
The long dress from the same range features the same details and designs across a larger canvas, with soft triangle cups and a full skirt.
High-necked lace on bras is quite popular at the moment – we’ve seen similar pieces in Agent Provocateur and La Perla collections recently. This is an arguably softer take – one of those times you won’t mind your bra poking out from under your top.
I’m a huge fan of pretty racerbacks, and this one does it beautifully. The soft, triangle bra looks like a standard bralette from the front but the back of the bra and briefs echo each other with a triangular lace pattern on tulle.
