freya fearne bra review

Figleaves US

Given my love of the Freya Deco, I thought I’d try their Fearne bra to see if I like it just as much. Unlike the Deco, it’s seamed and has far thicker straps and the gore comes up considerably higher since it’s a half-cup rather than a plunge. That said, it doesn’t come up as much as the pictures suggest – it may be the colouring that creates that illusion, or it could just look different on smaller sizes.

The Shop

I bought this bra the first time I set foot in a Boux Avenue shop. I do most of my shopping online – I don’t particularly like shopping but make exceptions for good lingerie shops and book shops. wonderbra ultimate strapless

Wonderbra weren’t kidding when they called this the ultimate – after so many years, a designer finally cracked strapless bras and made sure that the design scales up to offer support to those of us above a D cup.

penelope bra m&s review

This is a hit and a miss, and I’m still a bit frustrated since this keeps happening.

I bought my first Penelope bra after wandering into M&S on a whim in February – they had a pretty, plunge bra in my size, and it passed the jump test. Result! I always have to go quite a bit bigger for plunge bras (a GG compared to my usual F) because of my shape but the Penelope goes from DD-GG so I was set.
